Where the recipe currently stands
This recipe is built around a broad range of animal-based ingredients and targeted additions such as calcium, iodine and taurine. Our current estimates suggest that most nutritional targets are met, while a small number of essential vitamins and minerals remain slightly below reference levels. Because of that, we do not currently market Cats That Raw as nutritionally complete. We are continuing to refine and validate the formulation and would rather be transparent about where it stands today.
Why every puck won't look identical
Raw ingredients naturally vary, and we do not manufacture each puck ingredient-by-ingredient. We make and thoroughly mix the recipe as a batch, then portion it into 70g pucks. One puck may contain slightly more heart or slightly less sardine than another, but across the full batch the formulation follows the proportions shown below. Percentages are rounded, so they may not convert perfectly back to the displayed gram figures.

Chicken hearts
Animal protein plus naturally occurring taurine, iron and B vitamins.
Chicken gizzards
Lean muscular meat providing protein, B vitamins and naturally occurring minerals.
Whole sardines
Included for marine omega-3 fats such as EPA and DHA, plus vitamin D and selenium.
Chicken liver
A nutrient-dense source of vitamin A, vitamin B12, folate, copper and iron.
Kidney
Adds vitamin B12, riboflavin, selenium and other trace minerals.
Oyster
Included particularly for zinc, copper and vitamin B12.
Mussel
Adds vitamin B12, manganese, iron and marine omega-3 fats.
Eggshell powder
A measured calcium source. The powder used is approximately 38% calcium.
Kelp powder
A carefully measured source of iodine, an essential trace mineral.
Pure taurine
Added because taurine is essential for cats, rather than relying only on naturally occurring levels in the animal ingredients.

Unlike calculators built around different mince textures or generic percentage-of-body-weight rules, this one is based on estimated energy needs and the energy density of the current Cats That Raw Mixed recipe.
Current working energy estimate: about 180 kcal per 100g, or roughly 126 kcal per 70g puck. This is a provisional recipe estimate and will be updated when an analysed energy value is available.

Does the Transition Pack include 14 tubs?+
No. The £2 Transition Pack contains 4 transition pots and 4 meals. Delivery is £4.99, or Leeds city-centre collection is free. The one-time set of 14 complimentary reusable tubs comes with a customer's first 1, 2 or 4 week food order.
What happens on my second order?+
Choose “I already have my tubs”. Your order is then the frozen food supply without another complimentary 14-tub set.
Is delivery really 24 hours?+
Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims for next-working-day delivery but does not guarantee it. We only offer this checkout to postcode areas where Royal Mail currently publishes a Tracked 24 delivery target.
Can I subscribe?+
Not yet. Two-week and four-week orders can instead add a calendar reminder after checkout, one week before the food is expected to run out.

When is the weekly order cut-off?+
Last orders for the next production batch are Friday at 4PM UK time. Orders received by then are prepared on Saturday, frozen and dispatched on Monday. Orders placed after 4PM Friday are allocated to the following week's production.
Can I collect instead of paying for delivery?+
Yes. Free collection from Leeds city centre is available on every order. Choose collection in your bag and the delivery charge will be removed automatically. Collection arrangements will be confirmed with your order.

The complete ingredient declaration and batch formulation are shown in our What's in the food? section above, including the purpose of every ingredient and the approximate formulation per 70g puck.
Is Cats That Raw nutritionally complete?+
Not currently. Our estimates suggest that most nutritional targets are met, while a small number of essential vitamins and minerals remain slightly below reference levels. We therefore do not market the recipe as nutritionally complete and publish that openly while the formulation continues to be refined and validated.
